Ghost Android App Overview

GhostSMS is a privacy-focused Android app for sending anonymous SMS with number masking, so recipients see a protected sender ID instead of your real phone number. It is built for people who need a private second line without buying another SIM or committing to a subscription — marketplace sellers, freelancers, remote workers, and anyone who wants to keep work, dating, classifieds, or one-off contacts off their personal number.

Core features include number masking for outbound SMS, instant delivery to 100+ countries, message scheduling, message history, and optional Reply Links so recipients can respond through a secure URL without seeing your real number. Pricing is prepaid credits with no subscription: you buy credits as needed and they never expire, so you only pay for messages you actually send. A free trial path is also available from the website for a first anonymous SMS without creating an account.

GhostSMS is designed as one-way private messaging first, with abuse-prevention and compliance metadata kept minimal. It does not require a second SIM card. The Android app pairs with the GhostSMS web experience so you can manage private SMS from phone or browser.
