About Bella and Pan
Learn more about this application's features and capabilities.
Bella and Pan helps children practice math through a story they can play. Each correct answer moves Bella or Pan closer to bringing Pebble Village’s missing toys home. Children explore three connected Chapters, meet stuffed animal friends, help repair a bridge and sail across Goldtide Sea.
Four difficulties cover selected arithmetic skills from U.S. Kindergarten through 5th grade. Families choose by their child’s skills and confidence. The grade ranges are a guide, and older children can revisit the foundations too.
Easy starts with addition, plus gentle subtraction in Kiko’s and Brooklyn’s challenges. It is intended for children practicing skills around U.S. Kindergarten and 1st grade. Medium adds subtraction and missing numbers, around U.S. grades 1 and 2. Hard introduces multiplication and larger subtraction problems, around U.S. grades 2 and 3. Expert includes multiplication facts through 12, division with whole number answers, parentheses and short problems that combine operations, around U.S. grades 3 through 5.
Questions gradually become more challenging within each difficulty. There is no answer deadline. A Parents guide explains the choices. The difficulty shield beside the Chapter progress bar lets families choose another difficulty and restart the Adventure. Completed scores remain saved and grouped by difficulty.
Children earn Adventure Coins and can return to My Scores to see how each completed journey went and discover personal bests. The complete Adventure has three connected Chapters with animated characters, music and sound. The game supports portrait and landscape play on iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad, with separate controls for music and sound effects.
One paid app purchase includes the complete Adventure. There are no ads, in app purchases or subscriptions. The game works offline without an account. Progress and scores stay on the device, with no gameplay analytics or tracking. External links sit behind a parental gate.
The written interface and story are available in English, Spanish, Polish, German and French. Audio remains in its original language.
Bella and Pan began with Brooklyn’s drawings and a shared love of math. Created by Brooklyn and her dad at BKRXY, its characters grew from the stuffed animal friends and stories they imagined together.
