Growth Bounties Web App Overview

Growth Bounties is a marketplace for outcome-based growth, built by VibeCodingList and starting with Domain Rating. It connects two sides: founders and website owners who want a higher DR, and specialists and agencies who know how to deliver one. A buyer sets one clear DR target, funds the reward, and pays only when the result is independently verified. If the target is not reached, the buyer gets the money back.

Most growth work is still paid on screenshots and subjective acceptance. Growth Bounties replaces that with a frozen baseline, a fixed target and an independently observed finish line, so both sides know exactly what counts as done before any work starts.

How it works. Buyers and providers join their side of the marketplace with a business name, an email address and a website. There is no signup wall and no payment to join, and no VCL account is needed. Once invited, a buyer reviews a target and price on VCL, and VCL assigns an approved provider. A fresh Ahrefs baseline is frozen after acceptance, and the 30-day work period begins. The value shown before purchase is indicative; the accepted fresh value becomes the contractual baseline.

How success is validated. The first scheduled target hit must happen by the work deadline. The result then needs three qualifying scheduled observations in distinct daily slots within seven days. VCL schedules the checks and settles the scoreboard, and there is no subjective buyer approval step.

Where the money goes. If the target is validated, the provider gets paid. If the locked outcome is missed, the full Growth Bounty charge is refunded. If no eligible provider is assigned within the seven-day marketplace window, the charge is refunded as well.

For providers. Specialists and agencies can join as growth providers and discuss pricing and onboarding later. Joining is not automatic provider approval, and providers complete onboarding before taking work. Providers may use different disclosed backlink methods, including automated, paid, temporary or provider-owned placements. VCL verifies the contracted DR outcome and enforces authorization, truthful disclosure and platform conduct.

What it does not promise. Domain Rating is an Ahrefs backlink-profile metric. It is widely used as a comparative measure of backlink-profile strength, but it is not a Google ranking factor, and reaching a target does not guarantee rankings, traffic, indexing or revenue. The bounty guarantees only the funded DR outcome.

Growth Bounties is in private beta with a buyer and provider waitlist. Buyers can begin with an eligible custom domain and, if VCL finds a matching project they own, link it to the contract.
