Private Text Scanner Android App Overview

Private Text Scanner turns paper documents and existing images into editable, searchable text without sending scans or OCR content to a cloud service. Camera and gallery capture support multi-page documents, rotation, notes, tags, full-text search, and sharing. The free mode uses on-device ML Kit OCR. After the daily free allowance, users can choose a rewarded ad to unlock an additional high-accuracy PP-OCRv5 scan. Lifetime Pro removes ads and scan limits and unlocks PP-OCRv5 plus searchable PDF export. Chinese, English, Japanese and other supported OCR languages are available. No app account is required, and document images and recognized text stay on the device unless the user explicitly shares or exports them. Internet access is used only for Google Play Billing, AdMob reward delivery, and links or shares initiated by the user.
